Présentation

A historic and mystic randonnee that every four years attracts several thousand French and foreign randonneurs, emotional but above all passionate by the bicycle and the sporting challenge.
When one sets out for 80 to 90 hours, you do not have to be called Superman to succeed on this difficult journey. It is to set ones-self a challenge, to be done at least once in a lifetime, an unforgettable experience. This marathon of a randonnee caps all achievements.
It is above all a battle of endurance.
To know oneself and to be able to fine tune your different qualities are the keys to success. Put yourself to the test .
It is often said that Paris - Brest - Paris is achieved more with the head than with the legs. It requires dedication and willpower (a balanced diet, wholesome sleep, periods of fatigue and feelings of discouragement).
To think that the Paris - Brest - Paris is an flat event is far from the truth, there is nearly 10,000 metres of change in altitude, that is equivalent to a weeks riding in the mountains ! The high points on the route are at Le Perche and Roc Trévezel, but the accumulation of a series of small climbs of various lengths tests the resistance of the strongest.
Paris - Brest - Paris may seem outmoded in a period where more and more events are becoming shorter and faster, but its stature is something else. It is for the randonneurs the equivalent of the New York Marathon for runners, the Vasalopet for the cross country skiers or the Olympic games for the athletes. An objective for all !!!!
Nether the less whilst not being one of the last adventures of the modern world, it is in every sense a formidable challenge to oneself, and a superb occasion that will produce many unforgetable memories.
