ORGANISATION

      The 19^th. Bordeaux - Paris Randonneurs (B.P.R.) is organised by the TOURISTES & CYCLOSPORTIVES de GUYENNE.

      INFORMATION CENTRE AT THE START
      Reception will be on Thursday 24 June from 15.00 to 19.00 hours, at "Plaine des sport" in Bègles (south outskirts of Bordeaux).

      FINISH CONTROL
      Located at BALLAINVILLIERS on 27rd. June, this control will be open from 08.00 to 18.00 hours (20.00 hours for those delayed - emergency telephone no. - too be advised).

      TRANSPORT of LUGGAGE
      Transport will be provided. A vehicle will leave Bordeaux on Saturday 26nd. at about 14.00 hours and will take the luggage deposited the day before by the CYCLOTOURISTS, along with that left in the morning by the RADONNEURS, and later by the CYCLOSPORTIVES.
      Each item of luggage must carry a label with the name and address of the owner, the riders number and also a destination in case of failure to finish.
      The vehicle will deliver the luggage to the finish control in BALLAINVILLIERS at 08.00 hours on Sunday 27rd. (opening time of the control).

      FIRST AID
      First aid will be provided by the local Red Cross along the route and by the local fire brigade at the finish.

       AWARDS No reward outstanding award or diploma will be sent later. The participant must imperatively obtain these benefits, the site allocated for this purpose.
HONORARY AWARDS. Will be awarded on Sunday from 11.00 Only these will receive the rewards they deserve. Among the personalities and organizations that promote our initiative are: the cities of TRESSES, Martizay, and ROMORANTIN BALLAINVILLIERS

      ACCOMMODATION
Board and lodgings can be obtained at LA MAISON DE LA PROMOTION SOCIALE in Atigues - 333370 Tresse which is 2 km. from the start in Bordeaux.

      Available refreshments : Breakfast at the start and food and drinks at the finish.

      ROUTE MARKINGS
      Markings on the road surface indicating B.P.R., mainly on the outskirts and within large towns, should avoid any mistakes. In addition the detailed route card should dispel any fears of getting lost.
